Pursuant to section 56 of the Civil Defence Act 1983,
I, Christopher John Edmund Lux, hereby terminate the
state of local civil defence emergency declared in respect
of the Mercury Bay, Whangamata and Tairua/Pauanui Wards of the Thames-Coromandel District on 21 June 2002.
The termination of the state of local civil defence emergency shall take effect from the time and date of the making of
this declaration.
