Pursuant to sections 13 and 14 of the Fisheries Act 1996, the Minister of Fisheries, after having regard to the matters specified in that section, makes the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. Title and commencement-(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Southern Scallop Total Allowable Catch) Notice 2002.
(2) This notice comes into force on 1 April 2002.
2. Southern Scallop Fishery defined-(1) The Southern Scallop Fishery quota management area (SCA7) is the area as defined in Part III of the First Schedule to the Fisheries Act 1996.
3. Total allowable catch for southern scallops-The total allowable catch for southern scallops is 827 tonnes meatweight.
