New Shipper Dumping Duty Reassessment Will No Longer Proceed on Lead Acid Batteries from Malaysia (GP Autobat Sdn Bhd)

Due to the revocation of anti-dumping duties on lead acid batteries from Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan with effect from 22 June 1999, it is no longer appropriate to proceed with the new shipper reassessment initiated in respect of automotive lead acid batteries from GP Autobat Sdn Bhd of Malaysia.
Initiation of this reassessment was dated 15 December 1998 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 17 December 1998, page 4757.
Notice of the revocation of the anti-dumping duties was given in the New Zealand Gazette of 10 February 2000, page 268.
