Murray Traill Limited and Murray Traill

(No.2) Limited
Notice of Appointment of Liquidator
Pursuant to Section 255 (2) (a) of the Companies Act 1993
I, Andrew Marchel Oorschot, hereby give notice that for the purposes of winding up a non-trading company and pursuant to section 241 (2) (a) of the Companies Act 1993, I was appointed as liquidator of Murray Traill Limited (formerly Blue Jean Cuisine Limited) and Murray Traill (No.2) Limited (formerly Blue Jean Cuisine (No.2) Limited), with effect from the 29th day of March 2000.
The directors have resolved that the company was solvent prior to my appointment and therefore, pursuant to section 243 (8), no creditors' meeting is required to be called.
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Liquidation Regulation 12 of the Companies Act 1993, that as liquidator of Murray Traill Limited and Murray Traill (No.2) Limited, I fix the 1st day of May 2000, as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to make their claims and to establish any priority their claims may have, under section 312 of the Companies Act 1993 (as amended), or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before the debts are claimed, or as the case may be, from objecting to the distribution.
Please Note: This is a liquidation of a solvent company, which has assets in excess of its liabilities. The liquidation is taking place as the company has ceased trading following the sale of its Blue Jean Cuisine Restaurants in 1999 to Blue Jean Cuisine Limited and Triple B Holdings Limited, being companies owned by J. and G. Starkey, which are continuing to operate the restaurants.
Inquiries by creditors and shareholders may be directed to Ashton Wheelans and Hegan, Chartered Accountants,
P.O. Box 13-042, Christchurch (telephone: (03) 366 7154) during normal business hours.
Dated at Christchurch this 3rd day of April 2000.
A. M. OORSCHOT, Liquidator.
