Notice of the Decision of the Minister for Food, Fibre, Biosecurity and Border Control re. the Assigning of Place Names Pursuant to section 12 of the New Zealand Geographic Board Act 1946, notice was given on the 3rd day of June 1999 of the intention of the New Zealand Geographic Board to correct the spelling of the names Mount Diedrich, Diedrich Range and Diedrich Creek to Mount Diedrichs, Diedrichs Range and Diedrichs Creek; and to assign a new name, Kelvin Peninsula. Objections were received to these proposed names and were dealt with pursuant to section 13 of the said Act. I hereby declare that it is my decision that the names of these places shall be Mount Diedrichs, Diedrichs Range, Diedrichs Creek and Kelvin Peninsula, as referred to in the first column of the Schedule below, and that this decision shall take effect on the 16th day of November 1999.
