Amendment to Constitution of Council of Southland Polytechnic Pursuant to section 170 of the Education Act 1989, the Minister for Tertiary Education, hereby gives the following notice: N o t i c e 1. This notice may be cited as the Constitution of the Southland Polytechnic Amendment Notice 1999, and shall be read together with, and deemed part of, the Southland Polytechnic Notice 1990 (hereinafter called the ``principal notice''*). 2. This notice shall come into force on the day after its publication in the New Zealand Gazette. 3. The principal notice is hereby amended by: ``(a) omitting from clause 3, paragraph (c) and substituting the following paragraph: ``(c) One permanent member of the academic staff of Southland Polytechnic elected by the permanent members of staff.''
