Mainpower Energy Limited, Mainpower Network Limited, Mainpower Commercial Limited, North Canterbury Electricity Limited, North Canterbury Power Limited and North Canterbury Energy Limited Notice of Intention to Apply for the Removal of the Above Companies From the Register Notice is hereby given that a shareholder authorised by special resolutions of the shareholders of the above-named companies is intending to apply to the Registrar of Companies, pursuant to section 318 (1) (d) of the Companies Act 1993, for removal of the companies from the New Zealand Register. The grounds for removal are that the companies have ceased to carry on business, have discharged in full their liabilities to all their known creditors and have distributed their surplus assets in accordance with their constitutions. Any objections to the companies being removed, pursuant to section 321 of the Act, must be delivered to the Registrar before the 1st day of October 1999. Dated this 2nd day of September 1999.
