Maritime Rules Part 47 Notice of Exemption From Rule 47.5 I, Russell Paul Kilvington, Director of Maritime Safety, pursuant to section 47 (2) (b) (iii), and section 47 (3) of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, hereby give notice as follows: The owner of the 21-metre steel hull displacement motor passenger ship being built by Trans Ocean Yachts, Auckland for Mr Bob Koskela, is exempt from the requirement in Rule 47.5 of Part 47 of the maritime rules which requires the ship to be marked with draught marks.
