Amendment to the Recoverable Assistance for Non-Beneficiaries Welfare Programme Pursuant to section 124 (1) (d) of the Social Security Act 1964, I, Roger Morrison Sowry, Minister of Social Welfare, approve the following amendment to the Recoverable Assistance for Non-beneficiaries welfare programme (as originally approved on 17 June 1996, and approved by me on 23 December 1996), which is to be considered part of the programme with effect on and from 1 January 1998. Amendment 1. Definition of Income Amended 1.1 The programme is amended by omitting clause 7.2 and substituting the following clause: ``7.2 In clause 7.1, an applicant's income ``(a) includes the income of ``(i) his or her spouse (if any); or ``(ii) if the applicant is a dependant child, his or her parent; but ``(b) does not include any money received under the Away from Home Allowance Programme approved under section 124 (1) (d) of the Social Security Act 1964.''
