Board Appointed to have Control of Lake Okataina Scenic Reserve Pursuant to subsection (1) of section 17 of the Maori Purposes Act 1931, the Administrator of the Government hereby appoints: The Conservator, BOP Conservancy, Rotorua Wikitoria Ngamihikiteao Rangitakaiho Pene Gilbert Tawa Rikihana Donald Mairangi Bennett Andrew Wharehui Rangiheuea Tui Fox Mrs Keita Emery Sidney Teua Bobby Te Ikapokai Manukorihi Ngaheu to be a special board by the name of Lake Okataina Scenic Reserve Board, to have control of the Reserves described in the Schedule hereto, as scenic reserves for a term of 7 years from 10 May 1997 to 9 May 2004. In terms of section 17 (1) of the Maori Purposes Act 1931, this special board consists of not less than six persons, of whom five are members of Ngati-Tarawhai, subtribe of the Arawa Tribe.
