Order of the Council in Disciplinary Session Order in Respect of Registered Comprehensive Nurse Leeann Dorothy Mary Hadfield After due inquiry and in exercise of its powers under sections 42 (1) (a), 42 (2) (b), 42 (3) and 48a of the Nurses Act 1977, following conviction under section 229a (b) of the Crimes Act 1961, the Nursing Council of New Zealand (``the council''), in a decision dated 14 October 1997, ordered that Leeann Dorothy Mary Hadfield be suspended from practice for a period of 12 months from the date of its order. The council also ordered that she pay $2,400.00 towards the costs and expenses of and incidental to the inquiry by the council and that a notice stating the effect of these orders be published in the New Zealand Gazette and Kai Tiaki : Nursing New Zealand.
