Price Control Study of Airfield Activities The Minister of Commerce (``the Minister'') has required the Commerce Commission (``the commission'') to report to him by 14 December 1999 on whether price control should be introduced over prices for airfield activities, as defined by the Airport Authorities Amendment Act 1997, at Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch airports. Further information on the requirement, and the matters to which it relates, may be requested by contacting the commission for a copy of the information paper dated 3 August 1998, A98/2. The commission intends to commence the formal consultation phase of the inquiry on 2 August 1999. The commission invites interested persons to furnish their views on the above matter in writing to the commission by no later than 27 August 1999.
