Declaring State Highway to be Limited Access Road: State Highway No. 1: Mapou Road to Tawhaa Street It is notified that Transit New Zealand, by resolution dated 5 November 1997, and pursuant to section 88 (1) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 1, commencing at its intersection with Mapou Road (at Route Position 617/1.35) and proceeding in a generally south-westerly direction for a distance of 4.18 kilometres to its intersection with Tawhaa Street (at Route Position 617/5.53) as more particularly shown on Plan LA 20/21/2 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Regional State Highway Manager, Transit New Zealand, Hamilton, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.
