Appointment and Reappointment of Members to the Broadcasting Standards Authority On 5 September 1997, His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand appointed Joan Withers as a member of the Broadcasting Standards Authority for a term of 3 years from 17 September 1997, pursuant to section 26 of the Broadcasting Act 1989; and reappointed Lyndsay Margaret Loates as a member of the Broadcasting Standards Authority for a term of 3 years from 17 September 1997, pursuant to section 26 of the Broadcasting Act 1989.
