Amendment to Constitution of Council of The University of Auckland Pursuant to section 170 of the Education Act 1989, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice. N o t i c e 1. This notice may be cited as the Constitution of The University of Auckland Council Amendment Notice 1997, which shall be read together with and deemed part of The University of Auckland Notice 1990 (``the principal notice'').* 2. This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette. 3. The principal notice is hereby amended by omitting subparagraph (i) of clause 3 (h), and substituting the following subparagraph: ``(i) Such one of the persons holding office for the time being as Deputy Vice-Chancellor as the Council appoints after consultation with the Vice-Chancellor.''
