Notice of Variation of an International Air Service Licence Further to a notice in the New Zealand Gazette of 13 March 1997, and pursuant to section 87j (6) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, section 41 of the State Sector Act 1988, and a delegation from the Minister of Transport, dated 28 August 1996, I give notice that, having received an application from Air New Zealand Limited, the Minister of Transport has varied, with effect from 23 April 1997, the international air service licence held by that airline in respect of its services to Canada. With regard to those services operated on a code-shared basis with a designated airline of Canada, Air New Zealand may now use the routing Auckland, optionally via Nadi and/or Rarotonga, to Honolulu and, via separate routes, to Vancouver and Toronto.
