Declaring State Highway to Be Limited Access Road: State Highway No. 2 Awakeri to Taneatua It is notified that Transit New Zealand, by resolution dated 8 October 1997 and pursuant to section 88 (1) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 2 commencing at its intersection with State Highway No. 30 at Awakeri (at Route Position 243/0.00) proceeding in a generally south-easterly direction to on the north-eastern side of the highway the southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 12742; part Section 7, Block IX, Whakatane (at Route Position 258/0.85), and on the south-western side of the highway to the southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. S. 15133 (at Route Position 258/0.94) a distance of 13.11 kilometres; as more particularly shown on Plan LA 23/1555/1 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Regional State Highway Manager, Transit New Zealand, Hamilton, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.
