The Traffic (Rodney District) Notice No. 2, 1997 Pursuant to sections 52 (1) (c) and 52 (3) of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand, dated 9 June 1997, I, John Paul Edgar, Manager, Safer Roads and Rail, give the following notice: N o t i c e (1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Rodney District) Notice No. 2 1997. (2) The localities specified in the First Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities at all times for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962. (3) The roads specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area, pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976. (4) The road specified in the Third Schedule is excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962. (5) The following notices are revoked: (a) Those parts of The Traffic (Rodney County) Notice No. 3, 1986* which relate to the roads in the Second Schedule. (b) Those parts of The Traffic (Rodney CountyHibiscus Coast/Wainui Ridings) Notice No. 4, 1986 which relate to the roads in the First and Second Schedule. (c) Those parts of The Traffic (Rodney County) Notice No. 3, 1987 which relate to the roads in the Second Schedule. (d) Those parts of The Traffic (Rodney District) Notice No. 2, 1990 which relate to the roads in the First and Second Schedule. (e) Those parts of The Traffic (Rodney District) Notice No. 1, 1991 which relate to the roads in the Second Schedule. (f) Those parts of The Traffic (Rodney District) Notice No. 1, 1993 which relate to the road in the Second Schedule. (g) The Traffic (Rodney District) Notice No. 1, 1994**. SITUATED within Rodney District at Matakana: Leigh Road: from a point 200 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along Leigh Road from Matakana Valley Road. Matakana Road: from a point 600 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along Matakana Road from Matakana Valley Road to Matakana Valley Road. SITUATED within Rodney District at Muriwai: Muriwai Road: from State Highway No. 16 AucklandHelensville to School Road. SITUATED within Rodney District at Whangaparaoa: Whangaparaoa Road: from Doyly Drive to a point 100 metres measured northerly, generally, along Whangaparaoa Road from Roberts Road and from Siesta Terrace to a point 200 metres measured easterly, generally, along Whangaparaoa Road from Everard Avenue. SITUATED within Rodney District at Whangateau: Leigh Road: from a point 350 metres measured easterly, generally, along Leigh Road from Ashton Road to the one lane bridge at a point 1500 metres measured easterly, generally, along Leigh Road from Ashton Road. Second Schedule SITUATED within Rodney District at Wellsford: Port Albert Road Kaipara Coast Highway (ex State Highway No. 16 (AucklandWellsford)): from Davies Road to a point 1350 metres measured, westerly, generally, along Port Albert Road Kaipara Coast Highway from Davies Road.
