Summary of Exemptions Granted by the Director of Civil Aviation Pursuant to section 37 of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, notification is hereby given of a summary of exemptions, set out in the Schedule hereto, granted by the Director of Aviation. Schedule Nature of exemptions listed: 83 In addition to the exemptions listed in the New Zealand Gazette 1995, No. 3, page 150 and 151 (19); in 1996, No. 65, pages 1638, 1639 and 1640 (28); in 1996, No. 70, page 1761 (2); in 1996, No. 139, page 3354 (3); and in 1997, No. 1, page 54 (3); and 1997, No. 56, pages 1321 and 1322 (17), the following are also listed: Nature of exemptions granted: Docket 97/EXE/51, to all persons, on 11 June 1997. From 103.217(c). To exempt them from the requirement that no person shall operate a microlight aircraft unless it has undergone an annual condition inspection within the preceding 12 months. To remain in force until 1 April 1998 or the exemption is withdrawn earlier by the Director. Docket 97/EXE/53, to Paraparaumu Pitts Syndicate, on 20 June 1997. From 91.529(a). To exempt all Aerotek Inc. (Pitts) S-1 type aircraft from the requirement that each aircraft have an automatic electronic locator transmitter fitted. To remain in force until 1 April 1998 unless withdrawn by the Director. Docket 97/EXE/61, to Origin Pacific Airways Limited, on 27 June 1997. From 135.605(a)(2). To exempt them from the requirement that the holder of an air operator certificate shall ensure that it has an appropriate flight examiner rating. To remain in force until 3 months after a flight examiner rating has been established by the amendment to Part 61, or the exemption is withdrawn earlier by the Director. Nature of exemption withdrawn: Docket 97/EXE/47*, to Inglis Aircraft Limited, on 19 May 1997. From 135.605(a)(2). To exempt them from the requirement that the holder of an air operator certificate shall ensure that its flight examiners have an appropriate rating. To remain in force until 3 months after a flight examiner rating has been established by the amendment to Part 61, or the exemption is withdrawn by the Director. *Withdrawn by the Director on 27 June 1997, refer to Docket 97/EXE/61.
