Classification and Vesting of Reserve Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule hereto as a local purpose reserve (soil conservation and river control purposes) subject to the said Act, and further, vests the said reserve in the Wellington Regional Council, in trust for that purpose subject to a restriction that the reserve shall not be developed for afforestation. Schedule Wellington Land District South Wairarapa District 440 hectares, more or less, being Section 298, Awhea District, situated in Block XIII, Waipawa Survey District.
