Land Acquired for Road (State Highway No. 1) in Whangarei District Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Auckland, declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule is acquired, excepting thereout all veins, seams and beds of coal, fireclay and minerals as excepted by transfer 389884, North Auckland Land Registry, for road which, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall form part of State Highway No. 1 and which as at 1 November 1989, was situated in an ``urban area'' as defined in section 43 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, and shall vest in The Whangarei District Council on the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
