Termination of Subsidy Investigation: Baked Beans in Tomato Sauce From Italy Notice is hereby given that, acting pursuant to section 11 of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988 (hereinafter referred to as ``the Act''), I have terminated a subsidy investigation in respect of baked beans in tomato sauce in retail sized cans exported from Italy (hereinafter referred to as ``the subject goods'', as described in the Notice of Initiation of Dumping Investigation of 1 March 1996, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 7 March 1996, page 719), and imported or intended to be imported into New Zealand. The reason that I have terminated the investigation is because I am satisfied under section 11 (1) (b) of the Act that, as a result of investigations carried out, there is insufficient evidence that material injury to a New Zealand industry has been or is being caused or is threatened by means of the subsidisation of the goods. Dated at Wellington this 28th day of August 1996. JOHN LUXTON, Minister of Commerce. A copy of the non-confidential version of the Final Report, which contains details of the investigation and the conclusions reached, is available from the Manager, Trade Remedies Group, Ministry of Commerce, P.O. Box 1473, Wellington.
