Under section 31 of the Walking Access Act 2008, I declare that the land described in the Schedule below shall be a walkway and is assigned the name Te Ara Pātaka Network Walkway.

The areas marked “A”, “B”, “C”, “D”, “E”, “F”, “G”, “J”, “K”, “L”, “M”, “N”, “O”, “P”, “Q”, “R”, “S”, “T”, and “U” on DP 570440 (Record of Title 1006175).

Special Easement Terms

Vehicles may be taken on those parts of the walkway that are formed as a vehicle track for maintenance and emergency purposes only on the walkway areas marked “A”, “B”, “D”, “E”, “F”, “J”, “K”, “L”, “M”, “P”, “Q”, “S”, “T”, and “U” on DP 570440.

Vehicles may be taken on to the walkway for maintenance and emergency purposes only on the walkway areas marked “C”, “G”, “N”, and “O” on DP 570440.

Vehicles are not permitted on the walkway area marked “R” on DP 570440.

The easement grants a right for members of the public to pass and repass on cycles on the walkway areas marked “C”, “G”, “N”, “O”, “S”, “T”, and “U” on DP 570440.

Cycles are only permitted on the walkway if authorised by the Grantor on the walkway areas marked “A”, “B”, “D”, “E”, “F”, “J”, “K”, “L”, “M”, “P”, and “Q” on DP 570440.

Cycles are not permitted on the walkway area marked “R” on DP 570440.

Dogs are only permitted on the walkway if authorised by the Grantor on the walkway areas marked “A”, “B”, “C”, “D”, “E”, “F”, “G”, “J”, “K”, “L”, “M”, “N”, “O”, “P”, “Q”, “S”, “T”, and “U” on DP 570440.

Dogs are not permitted on the walkway area marked “R” on DP 570440.

Horses are only permitted on the walkway for any horse events authorised by the Grantor on the walkway areas marked “A”, “B”, “C”, “D”, “E”, “F”, “G”, “J”, “K”, “L”, “M”, “N”, “O”, “P”, “Q”, “S”, “T”, and “U” on DP 570440.

Horses are not permitted on the walkway area marked “R” on DP 570440.

Firearms are only permitted to be taken on the walkway if authorised by the Grantor, for management purposes only on the walkway areas marked “A”, “B”, “C”, “D”, “E”, “F”, “G”, “J”, “K”, “L”, “M”, “N”, “O”, “P”, “Q”, “R”, “S”, “T”, and “U” on DP 570440.
