I hereby give notice that, under section 9I of the Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance 2003, the Responsible Lending Code (“Code”) was replaced on Thursday 9 June 2022.

The replacement Code includes amendments to Chapter 5, which will come into force on 7 July 2022. Until this date, the previous version of the Code remains in force, available here: https://www.mbie.govt.nz/dmsdocument/13325-responsible-lending-code.
