Pursuant to schedule 7 clause 3 of the Public Service Act 2020, the Deputy Public Service Commissioner has appointed

Pietro Mersi

to the position of Commissioner of Inland Revenue and Chief Executive, Inland Revenue Department from 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2027, following acceptance by the Governor-General of New Zealand in Council of the Deputy Public Service Commissioner’s recommendation.
