Pursuant to clauses 50 of the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Air Border) Order 2021 (“Order”), I, Dr Ashley Bloomfield, Director-General of Health, hereby designate the following airports to be specified airports for the purposes of clause 50 of the Order:
- Auckland Airport (as defined as airport in section 2 of the Auckland Airport Act 1987).
- Wellington Airport (as defined as airport in section 2 of the Wellington Airport Act 1990).
- Christchurch Airport (as per section 3 of the Airport Authorities Act 1966 and Airport Authorities (Christchurch International Airport Limited) Order 1988).
- Queenstown Airport (as per section 3 of the Airport Authorities Act 1966 and Airport Authorities (Queenstown Airport Corporation Limited) Order 1989).
This notice will come into force at 11.59pm on 31 March 2022.
The notice COVID-19 Public Health Response (Air Border) Order 2021—Specified Airport of Arrival, dated 25 February 2022 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 25 February 2022, Notice Number 2022-go674, is revoked.
