Pursuant to section 94B of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, John Leggett, give notice of a local transition period over Marlborough district owing to heavy rainfall and consequential flooding in the district.

This transition period:

1. comes into force at the time and date which this notice is given, which is when the state of emergency declared at 12.20pm on Saturday 17 July 2021, and extended on 24 July 2021, is terminated;
2. is in force for 28 days; and
3. ends at 12.01pm on 25 August 2021 unless extended or terminated earlier.
