On 14 May 2021, Her Majesty The Queen in the Right of New Zealand, acting by and through the Chief Executive of the Department of Corrections and First Security Guard Services Limited, varied a security contract under section 166(1) of the Corrections Act 2004.

First Security Guard Services Limited is the security contractor for the purposes of the Act.
