Pursuant to sub-clause 10.6(1) of Land Transport Rule: Heavy-vehicle Brakes 2006 (“Rule”), and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency, I, Alexander Gordon Currie, Senior Engineer Heavy Vehicles, hereby approve the brake testing device specified in the Schedule to this notice for the purpose of measuring brake performance of heavy vehicles to establish compliance with the requirements for heavy-vehicle brakes contained in the Rule.
