Under section 16(1) of the Reserves Act 1977, and a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Porirua City Council, pursuant to a resolution dated 21 August 2019, gives notice that the reserve described in the Schedule is classified as local purpose reserve (esplanade) subject to the provisions of the said Act.
