Notice of Proposal to Issue and Amend Acceptable Solutions and Amend Verification Methods for Building Code Clauses C, E1, E2, E3, G9 and G13 and Associated Materials Incorporated by Reference

Acceptable Solutions and Verification Methods Proposed to be Amended

Pursuant to section 29 of the Building Act 2004 (“Act”), I give notice amendments to the following Acceptable Solutions and Verification Methods:

  • C Fire Verification Method C/VM2,
  • C Fire Acceptable Solutions C/AS1 and C/AS2,
  • E1 Surface Water Verification Method E1/VM1,
  • E1 Surface Water Acceptable Solution E1/AS1,
  • E2 External Moisture Acceptable Solution E2/AS1,
  • E3 Internal Moisture Acceptable Solution E3/AS1,
  • G9 Electricity Verification Method G9/VM1,
  • G9 Electricity Acceptable Solution G9/AS1,
  • G13 Foul Water Acceptable Solutions G13/AS1, G13/AS2 and G13/AS3

New Acceptable Solutions Proposed to be Issued

Pursuant to sections 409(2) of the Act, I give notice that the following Acceptable Solutions are proposed to be issued:

  • Acceptable Solution E1/AS2,
  • Acceptable Solution E3/AS2.

Amendment to Material Incorporated by Reference

Pursuant to section 409(2) of the Act, I give notice of proposed new material and amended material incorporated by reference into the table of Acceptable Solutions and Verification Methods below. The material incorporated by reference in Column 1 of the table below, is replaced by the material listed in Column 2. Where there is text in Column 2 only, this signifies new material. Where there is text in Column 1 only, this signifies removal of material.
