Pursuant to section 47(3) of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, the Director of Maritime New Zealand hereby notifies the granting of the following exemption from the Maritime Rules dated 6 July 2020

in relation to persons applying for the issue of certificates:

deck watch rating (32.80, Table 11, line 6), Able seafarer deck (32.82, Table 12, line 6), engine room watch rating (32.84, Table 13, line 6), able seafarer engine (32.86, Table 14, line 6), and electro-technical rating (32.90, Table 16, line 6)
