Pursuant to section 61(3) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989, and the Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2017, the NZ Transport Agency hereby makes the following bylaw.

Bylaw

1. Title and commencement—This bylaw is the New Zealand Transport Agency (Speed Limits on State Highways) Amendment Bylaw 2020/2177 and will come into force on and from 6 July 2020

2. Amendments—The New Zealand Transport Agency (Speed Limits on State Highways) Bylaw 2010/10* is hereby amended by:

• Inserting line 400A in Schedule 1 to read:
  “Line No.: 400A
  Region: 4
  SH No.: 5
  Locality: Waiotapu
  Section of State Highway: From NZTM2000 1894246, 5751654, approximately 551m north east of Waikite Valley Road to NZTM2000 1893795, 5750812, approximately 369m south west of Waiotapu Loop Road.
  Speed Limit (km/h): 80
  Effective date: 6/7/2020
  Speed Limit Rule: Setting of Speed Limits Rule 2017
  New Zealand Gazette Reference: 2/6/2020, Notice No. 2020-au2177”

Explanatory Note

This note is not part of the bylaw, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This bylaw, which comes into force on and from 6 July 2020, amends the New Zealand Transport Agency (Speed Limits on State Highways) Bylaw 2010/10.
