Take notice that, pursuant to part 2, (subpart2) of the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005 (“Act”), compensation awarded to Joshua Mark Domican was paid to the Secretary for Justice on 19 September 2018, and the surplus, was paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account on 8 November 2018 on behalf of Joshua Mark Domican to enable any victims of that offender to make claims against it.

And that on 17 November 2018, notice was given by publication in the daily newspapers in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin and on 16 November 2018 on the website of the Ministry of Justice, of the sum of money paid into the Trust Account, and the entitlement of Victims of the offender to claim against this money and the manner to do so.

Under section 32(1)(b) of the Act, the Secretary for Justice has now paid out all of the money held in the Trust Account on behalf of Joshua Mark Domican.
