Notice of New and Altered Geographic Names for Ngāi Tai ki Tāmaki Claims Settlement Act 2018

Pursuant to sections 94, 95 and 97 of the Ngāi Tai ki Tāmaki Claims Settlement Act 2018 (“Settlement Act 2018”), the New Zealand Geographic Board Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa (“Board”) hereby gives notice of new and altered official geographic names, as described in the Schedule below.

The official geographic names took effect on 27 September 2018, being the settlement date specified in the Settlement Act 2018. Pursuant to sections 96 and 97 of the Settlement Act 2018, the Board may in the future agree to alter any official geographic names listed in the Schedule below with the written consent of the trustees of Ngāi Tai ki Tāmaki Trust.
