Pursuant to section 26 of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996 (“Act”), the Environmental Protection Authority hereby determines that Nitrospira marina, Nitrobacter vulgaris, and Nitrobacter alkalicus are not new organisms for the purposes of the Act.
