Pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training and Apprenticeships Act 1992, the notice dated 10 December 2015 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 17 December 2015, Issue No. 141, Notice No. 2015-au7362 that specifies the industries for which Competenz Trust is recognised as an industry training organisation is amended by adding “protective coating industry – including abrasive blasting, and blasting coating operations”.

This notice takes effect from 15 October 2018.
