Pursuant to section 448(2) of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, Maritime New Zealand gives notice of the making of the following marine protection rules:

Marine Protection Rules Amendments to Ballast and Harmful Substances Provisions 2018.

These rules were signed on 25 June 2018 and will come into force on 27 July 2018.

These rules are available for inspection free of charge, or for purchase, from Maritime New Zealand, Level 11, 1 Grey Street, Wellington, or on the Maritime New Zealand website at www.maritimenz.govt.nz/rules.
