Notice Redefining the Purposes of a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338(5)(c) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court dated the 18 November 2015, the purposes for which the Māori reservation in respect of the lands described in the Schedule hereto, created by notices published in the New Zealand Gazette, 15 March 1979, No. 18, page 571 and New Zealand Gazette, 13 June 1985, No. 110, page 2530, are hereby redefined for the purposes of a burial ground, recreation ground, church site, meeting house site and marae (Te Rangimarie Marae), for the common use and benefit of the descendants of Wiremu Kingi Te Awe Awe and Manawaroa Te Awe Awe.
