Pursuant to section 32 of the Corrections Act 2004, the Minister of Corrections gives the following notice.

Notice

1. Title—This notice is the Corrections (Auckland Custody Unit Police Jail) Notice 2017.

2. Commencement—This notice takes effect from 28 September 2017.

3. Auckland Custody Unit Police Jail—The land and buildings described in the Schedule are declared to be a police jail to be known as the Auckland Custody Unit.

4. Revocation—The Penal Institution (Cook Street (Auckland Central) Police Jail) Notice 2001 (SR 2001/413) (as notified in the New Zealand Gazette, 19 December 2001, No. 173, page 4231) is revoked from 31 December 2017.

Auckland Custody Unit Police Jail

That parcel of land described as Section 1 SO 516170 and the ground floor of the building shown as Section 2 on SO 516170, being contained within Certificate of Title 552867 in the Auckland Land Registration District.
