Pursuant to section 61(3) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989 and the Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2017, the NZ Transport Agency hereby makes the following bylaw.

Bylaw

1. Title—This bylaw is the New Zealand Transport Agency (Speed Limits on State Highways) Amendment Bylaw 2017/16.
2. Commencement—This bylaw comes into force on and from 11 December 2017.
3. Principal bylaw amended—This bylaw amends the New Zealand Transport Agency (Speed Limits on State Highways) Bylaw 2010/10.
4. Inserting a new line 217A in Schedule 1 to read:

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the bylaw, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This bylaw, which comes into force on and from 11 December 2017, amends the New Zealand Transport Agency (Speed Limits on State Highways) Bylaw 2010/10.

Clauses 4 to 8 amend Schedule 1 to install new speed limits on the State Highway 1 Waikato Expressway and the State Highway 2 Tauranga Eastern Link Toll Road .
