In accordance with section 223 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, WorkSafe New Zealand (“WorkSafe”) gives notice that the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety has approved two amendments to the Approved Code of Practice for the Management and Removal of Asbestos.

The amendments will come into force 28 days after the date of publication of this notice and will be available on WorkSafe’s website

The amendments will be available for purchase in hard copy, for a reasonable charge. They will also be available for inspection at WorkSafe’s offices at Level 6, 86 Customhouse Quay, Wellington 6011.
