Pursuant to section 5A(4) of the District Courts Act 1947, Her Excellency the Administrator of the Government has been pleased to appoint

Colin John Doherty, District Court Judge of Christchurch

to be Acting Chief District Court Judge for the period commencing on 26 October 2015 and expiring on 18 November 2015.
