WorkSafe New Zealand has added the following Certificate of Competence to the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 18 December 2014, Issue No. 153, Notice No. 2014-au7793:
“Certificate of competence as a site-specific site
1. The applicant for a certificate of competence as a site-specific site must:
- hold a certificate of competence as a site-specific site under the former regulations; and
- have passed the unit standards set out in Group F of Appendix 2; and
- hold a first aid certificate.”
and has amended the details of examination by panel of examiners as follows:
“Examination by panel of examiners
3. Paragraph (1) applies to the following certificates of competence:
- site senior executive;
- first-class mine manager;
- first-class coal mine manager;
- A-grade opencast coal mine manager;
- A-grade quarry manager;
- A-grade tunnel manager;
- coal mine deputy;
- electrical superintendent;
- mechanical superintendent;
- ventilation officer;
- winding engine driver;
- coal mine underviewer;
- mine surveyor.”
