Pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training and Apprenticeships Act 1992, full recognition of Skills Active Aotearoa Limited as an industry training organisation has been granted for a further period of five years, with effect from 26 June 2014, to set standards at Levels 1-7 on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework for the sports, fitness and recreation industry including the planning, management, promotion and delivery of sport, fitness, community recreation, outdoor recreation, diving (excluding aquaculture) and snowsport industries.
