Revoking a Section of State Highway and Declaring a Section of State Highway-State Highway 1N, Waikato

Pursuant to section 103 of the Land Transport Management Act 2003, the NZ Transport Agency gives notice that, with effect from 8 November 2013:
(a) Part of State Highway 1N, described in the First Schedule, is revoked; and
(b) The sections of new road, described in the Second Schedule, are declared to be State Highway 1N.
First Schedule
The section of State Highway 1N to be revoked is on
Te Rapa Road and Wairere Drive at Hamilton, commencing at RP 533/8.10 (35 metres south of the intersection of Bern Road) and extending in a generally southerly direction
to RP 543/3.76 (290 metres south-west of the western abutment of the rail overbridge on Wairere Drive). The length of State highway to be revoked is 5.63 kilometres.
Second Schedule
Part of State Highway 1N at Horotiu, commencing at RP 533/7.39 (630 metres south-east of Horotiu Bridge Road) and extending in a generally southerly direction along the recently constructed highway ending at the new Horotiu interchange at RP 533/7.48. The length of road to be declared State highway is 0.09 kilometres.
Part of State Highway 1N at Hamilton, commencing at a point 400 metres north-east of the new Horotiu interchange bridge at RP 534/3.52 and extending in a generally southerly direction along the recently constructed Mangaharakeke Drive and ending 455 metres south of the new intersection with Wairere Drive at RP 540/6.03. The length of road to be declared State highway is 6.82 kilometres.
