Specified Matters and Provisions Under Which the Secretary May Exercise WorkSafe Functions

Pursuant to section 5A(2) of the Electricity Act 1992, I give notice that the following are:
(a) specified matters in relation to which the Secretary may carry out functions conferred on WorkSafe under this Act; and
(b) specified provisions that confer functions on WorkSafe and under which the Secretary may exercise functions in relation to the specified matter.

Carrying out inquiries, tests, audits and investigations, conducting inspections,
and undertaking enforcement in connection with:
(a) Minister's functions under sections 4 and 4A
(b) Compliance with:
(i) Standards for electricity supply
(ii) Restrictions on doing electrical work
(iii) Restrictions on doing or assisting with prescribed electrical work
(iv) Employer licences
(v) The Electricity (Statistics) Regulations 1996
(c) Prescribed electrical work
(d) Registration, licensing and discipline of electrical workers
(e) Electricity operators Section 6

Making codes of practice for the purposes of, or relating to the matters specified in,
