and appointed
Associate Professor Rawiri Te Maire Tau,
of Christchurch
Dr Merata Kawharu, of Auckland
as members of the New Zealand Geographic Board Nga Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa for a term of three years commencing on 11 July 2013.
The reappointment of Matanuku Mahuika and Rikirangi Gage is made on the recommendation of the Minister of Maori Affairs, pursuant to Schedule 1(1)(2)(a) of the said Act.
The appointment of Associate Professor Rawiri Te Maire Tau is made on the recommendation of Te Runanga o Ngai Tahu, pursuant to Schedule 1(1)(2)(b) of the said Act.
The reappointment of Professor Michael Roche is made on the recommendation of the New Zealand Geographical Society Inc, pursuant to Schedule 1(1)(2)(c) of the said Act.
The reappointment of David Barnes is made on the recommendation of the Federated Mountain Clubs of
New Zealand Inc, pursuant to Schedule 1(1)(2)(d) of the said Act.
The reappointment of Jennifer Vernon and the appointment of Dr Merata Kawharu is made on the recommendation of the Minister for Land Information, pursuant to Schedule 1(1)(2)(f) of the said Act.
