Pursuant to sections 37 and 38 of the State Sector Act 1988, the State Services Commissioner has appointed
Elizabeth (Liz) Mary MacPherson
as the Chief Executive and Government Statistician of Statistics New Zealand from 26 August 2013 to 25 August 2018.
