Pursuant to section 338(5)(c) of Te Ture Whenua Maori
Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the purposes for which the Maori reservation in respect
of the land described in the Schedule hereto was created by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 3 December 1992, No. 197, page 4392, is hereby redefined for the purpose of a papakainga, urupa, marae, church site, timber reserve, kohanga reo, meeting place, place of cultural, historical or scenic interest, education centre, catchment
area or other source of water supply, wahi tapu, pa site, fishing ground, health clinic, Kaumatua flats, conservation purpose, sports and recreational ground, horticultural centre and cultural centre for the common use and benefit of the owners and their descendants.
